Webinar on HSR with key player of the railway sector

Friday the 23rd of October, Adj.Prof. Andrea Giuricin, CEO of TRA consulting SL had the honour to present in a #webinar organized by the US High Speed Rail Association.

The panel discussed about the #present and the #future of the #HighSpeedRail in the #World and the different business models.

 

 

There were great presentations from François DAVENNE, General Director and Marc Guigon, Director of Passenger and of Covid19 task force at UIC – International union of railways #UICrail, Dr. Anthony Perl from Simon Fraser University and Enrico Trapazzo from Gruppo Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane #USA.

TRA consulting going global

Last week in Bangkok, Prof. Dr. Andrea Giuricin, CEO of TRA consulting presented the interim report for a reform of the Railway sector in #Thailand as senior transport advisor of The World Bank.

In the last months, Prof. Dr. Andrea Giuricin had meetings with Ministers and CEO of the company to make a better benchmarking analysis and to have an effective reform of the sector.

This is another important step for the internationalization of the consulting company, after working, in China, South Korea, Indonesia, Africa and Europe.

TRA consulting: Three days lessons at China Academy of Railway Sciences

The China Academy of Railways Sciences is the biggest organization in the World for the railway sector with around 10 thousand students.

China has developed in the last 9 years the longest network of High Speed Lines with more than 23000 kilometers.

Prof. Dr. Andrea Giuricin has the privilege to be a visiting professor at CARS and to make frequently lessons in Beijing.

Last week, from the 23rd to the 25th of October, he was invited to give 3 days lessons in China.

The audience of the 3 days lessons was very large, around 100 students and managers of the Chinese railway sector: around 50 % of the students was at PhD level.

In the training program, the presentations were on:

  • INNOVATION AND DIGITIZATION TO IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF THE RAIL
  • COST CONTROL FOR THE HSR OPERATORS
  • ACCESS CHARGE: BENCHMARKING AROUND THE WORLD AND ASSET MANAGEMENT FOR ROLLING STOCK
